Didn't Receive Email Invite with Username & Password

Upon your enrollment, you should receive an email from “City of Scottsdale” at noreply@talentlms.com with your username and password. Make sure to check your junk mail if you do not see it in your inbox. If you do not receive the email invite with your login information, please contact Youth & Family Services.


Can't Remember Password

You can reset your password by clicking "Forgot Password" at the bottom of login page. An email will be sent to the email address that was used to create your account to help you re-set your password.


Audio or Visual Glitches with Web Browser

If you are using a computer, make sure that you are using the google chrome web browser. This course can experience glitches using other web browsers. If you do not have google chrome, please use the instructions below.

    How to Download Google Chrome: 

    1. Go to https://www.google.com/chrome/ and click “Download Chrome”.

    2. Click “Run” and the installer will launch.

    3. If prompted, click “Install anyway” and “yes” when they pop up.

    4. Wait for install to finish. Chrome will open automatically when it’s done.


Audio or Visual Glitches with Tablet or Mobile Device

If you are using a tablet or smart phone, make sure that you are using the TalentLMS app to access the course. Do not use a web browser on your tablet or phone to access this course, always use the app to avoid technical difficulties. You can download the TalentLMS app using the app store. The app is free to download. When you first open the app, you will be asked to type in the “domain”. Please type youthandfamilyservices-scottsdale.talentlms.com. Next, you will be asked to type your username and password and will be taken to the 16 Hour Course. Depending on your personal device, you may need to adjust the device's audio settings or use headphones to hear audio for the course. 


Problems Resuming to Saved Place in Module

Make sure you are exiting out of the course properly if you need to exit a module part way through. For best results, we recommend completing each module in its entirety before exiting. If you are using a computer, avoid accessing other web pages or programs while you are completing a module. If you are using a tablet or phone, avoid opening other apps while you are completing a module. 


Didn't Pass the Post-Test

You are required to obtain at least a 70% on the post-test. If you did not pass, you re-start Module 16 to take the post-test again. You can take the post-test as many times as you need to pass.


Unable to Access Completion Certificate

Once you have completed the post-test, you will receive an email with a direct link to access your certificate of completion. Click this link to open the PDF and save to your computer or print. Alternatively, if you need to access your certificate a different way, log into your account and click the tab at the top that says your NAME/LEARNER and select “my certifications” from the drop down menu. You should see your DUI completion certificate listed. Click the symbol on the far right under OPTIONS that is shaped like a cloud to download. A PDF copy of your certificate will pop up at the bottom of your screen. Click to open the PDF, then save to your computer or print. If you are unable to access your completion certificate through either of these options, please contact Youth & Family Services for support.
